Whitney is an accomplished horsewoman. She loves the process of working with a variety of horses and riders. She started in the hunter ring as a young girl and moved on to eventing at 8. To increase her experience she has participated in many horse sports ranging from team penning to fox hunting to combined driving... but her true passion is with 3-day eventing.

Whitney earned her BA in Psychology at the University of Washington at age 20. She earned her "A" rating in the United States Pony Club at age 17. She has completed qualifications and is preparing for the Instructor Certification Program test in eventing.

Whitney takes tremendous satisfaction in helping horses and riders fulfill their potential. She enjoys working with beginners to experienced horsepeople and anyone in between. She has developed a reputation for being able to break and train horses with a  wide range of  ability and experience.

Whitney's number one priority is safety. She works to ensure that her clients experience the joy of riding as well as the satisfaction of improving their skills. She believes dressage is necessary for success and uses this as a foundation for all horses.

At Capstone Training, Whitney's performance - whether competing or training - reflects her passion for the sport.
